Dear Friends,
I want to bring you up to date on what I have been doing to improve my skills as a homeopath. I started my homeopathic education in 1983, and have been in active practice for 34 years. I have undertaken to reread the homeopathic materia medicas, homeopathic philosophy books and the classic homeopathic texts that I first read in the 1980s. It’s a lot of fun to do, because at that time I read the books from the eyes of a beginner. Now I am reading them from a different perspective, from the eyes of an experienced homeopath. This is deepening my knowledge, and I am thoroughly enjoying doing it.
The reason I enjoy it is that homeopathy is my passion. It is my dharma, meaning it is my life’s calling, the correct path for me. I am focusing most of my attention in my free time on this pursuit, because I want to be the best homeopath I can be. I want to do the best work I possibly can for my clients and for my family.
Meet the Homeopath
I have been studying Agrihomeopathy a.k.a. Agrohomeopathy for about five years to understand how to treat plants. I find this very useful and enlightening, as it helps me understand how to treat people. First of all, it’s not at all easy. A lot of it is intuitive work, as plants can’t speak to you in human language, so the presciption is mostly based on observation, and translating what you observe into the language of a human repertory and materia medica.
Plants respond very obviously to a remedy. When a remedy is the similimum, you can see a dramatic improvement in the health of the plant, and when the remedy is not a close fit, you will see no change. Treating plants truly shows you the power of homeopathy to heal, and to restore health. When you see an old plant that has been around for fifty or sixty years ailing, and you give it a remedy that resonates, and the plant suddenly look forty years younger. That is very inspiring. If homeopathy can do that for plants, why not for humans? There is no reason why not.
