Homeopathy Consultation Fees for Adults

Here are the homeopathy consultation fees for adults seeking constitutional treatment

Thank you for considering homeopathic treatment. The way I work is that I ask you to complete the adult questionnaire. When you have completed the questionnaire please e-mail it back to me. This will let me know that you are ready to schedule an initial consultation. The questionnaire facilitates the information gathering process, enables me to begin repertorizing your case prior to seeing you, and frees us up to use our time together to explore the root causes of your health problems in a deeper way. I only work with people in the United States. Here is the link to the questionnaire:

Prior to scheduling your initial consultation I would like to talk to you on the phone or via Skype, so that I can answer your questions, and ask you about treatments you have already had.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, I am seeing clients these days by phone, Skype, Facetime Whatsapp or Zoom. I prefer to talk on the phone as much as possible and then switch to video calls to test the remedies and at the beginning of the call.  The reason for this is my concerns regarding the environmental impact of cell phone usage and videoing calling.

Consultation Fees

The initial consultation by phone, Skype or in person              $340

This is the fee for a regular consultation and includes my time to review the questionnaire, prepare the analysis sheet, repertorize the case, take your case, make a prescription, and prepare the remedy with instructions . This fee covers up to four hours of my time. I charge an additional $40 per hour for additional time needed. Also included are a 2 and 4 week email progress report, which I request that you initiate.

Follow up consultations by phone, Skype or in person            $190

This is the fee for a regular follow up consultation. It includes my time to review your case, take the case, prepare the chart of symptoms, make a new prescription if required, and prepare the remedy with instructions. This fee covers three hours of my time. There is an additional charge of $40 an hour if I work in excess of three hours on your case for a follow up. Also included are a 2 and 4 week email progress report.

I request payment at the conclusion of your office, Skype or phone consultation by check or cash. I accept payment by credit card or Paypal as well with a 3% service charge.  My preferred method of payment is check.

Additional Services Offered

Quick acute consultation                                                       $125 for one hour

This is available to clients who have already had an initial and follow up  consultation. It  is for emergency acute or trauma conditions where a thorough examination of the case is not necessary to make a prescription.

Coronavirus Initial Consulation                                                             $250

This consultation rate is for people who have been in good health and who are seeking treatment, because they believe that they have come down with the Coronavirus. We will be focusing on the acute case, rather than the full constitutional picture, though that will also be discussed as well.

Internet consultation fee                                                                             $50

This is for requests for advice over the internet where I have to examine the client’s chart to make a recommendation.  This charge does not apply to clients on LM potencies, asking questions about whether to stop or start their bottles.  It also does not apply to the two week progress report after taking the remedy, or when I request a progress report.

Fee for testing remedies                                                                             $50

This is for people who want me to test how remedies resonate with them either in person or over Skype or FaceTime. This covers my time to review the case, and make a prescription. This service is only available to established clients, who do not need a full follow up consultation.

Fee for mailing remedy without an appointment                                   $35

This service is for established client who are doing well on their remedy, and need an additional dose.

Budgeting for Homeopathy

Some people have asked me how many consultations will be needed in the first and subsequent years of treatment. Everyone is different, but I can give you averages. In the first year of treatment the average person schedules the initial consultation, plus one or two follow up consultations. People with many health issues may schedule three to four consultations in the first year of treatment. In the second year of treatment one or two consultations is average. I hope this helps you budget for homeopathy.

If my fees are high for you

I know that my fees are high for some people to afford. Here is a link to the Bay Area Homeopathic Association directory. Most of the homeopaths on this directory post their fees, and many of them have fees that are lower than mine. I hope this helps you find a homeopath to work with that is affordable for you. Homeopaths Without Borders has announced that they are offerring free Coronavirus consultations.

E-mail policy

I welcome your e-mail progress reports, but I do ask that you keep them brief and to the point. I spend 2 to 3 hours a day responding to e-mails. This cuts into the time I need to work with clients, and study my cases. Please write when you really need to. E-mail should not be a substitute for scheduling a consultation.

I am looking forward to meeting or talking to you on the phone and working with you to improve your health.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions or concerns, or if you would like to schedule an appointment.

With best wishes for your health,

Deborah Olenev CCH RSHom (NA)

Note Regarding Blog Comments

Dear Friends,
I appreciate your visiting my website and reading my articles and taking the time to write your comments. I welcome your comments and will post them if it looks like what you have to say will be helpful to others. I may not write a comment back, but will let the article itself present my point of view.

I am no longer responding to people’s questions regarding personal health matters on my blog, because it becomes stressful for me due to the volume of such questions that I get.

Also there is no way I can actually answer these questions properly without familiarizing myself with the person’s  health.

For anyone who is interested in working with me, please complete the appropriate questionnaire and send it to me. This way I will know that you are ready to move forward with a consultation.

I wish you the best of health.

Peace be with you,

Deborah Olenev CCH RSHom (NA)

    Dear Ajmal,
Thank you for writing with your question. This matter has confused many homeopaths.

If the aggravation is too strong after a remedy, from my point of view, this means that the potency of the remedy, and or the quantity given of the remedy was too high. For example if a person takes a 200C dose of a remedy and they aggravate strongly, then the dose needs to be reduced by dropping down two levels (the traditional approach), which would be to go to the 30C or 15C or 12C potency. This will help to tone down a strong aggravation.

If you are still convinced that the remedy is correct, then the next time a repetition is necessary, I would go with a lower potency, meaning a 12C, 15C or 30C.

Remember that the higher potencies, though they are more immaterial are actually much stronger than the lower potencies and you have to use the higher potencies with much greater care.

I hope this answer is helpful.

    Peace be with you,

    Deborah Olenev CCH RSHom (NA)

    Dear Luke,
Thank you for your question. My fees are below average for homeopaths with my experience. I charge what I need to in order to help support my family.

I wish you all the best.

    In love and service,

    Deborah Olenev CCH RSHom (NA)

You state that many homeopaths have fees significantly lower than yours. Could I ask the reason why you set your fees significantly higher? Many thanks

    Dear Kevin,
Thank you for asking. The CCH letters after my name stand for Certified Classical Homeaopath; the RSHom (NA) letters stand for Registered with the Society of Homeopathy of the North America. The CCH was granted to me by the Council on Homeopathic Certification. The RSHom (NA) comes from NASH, or the North American Society of Homeopaths. Please see the bio section on this website for more information about my education. Hi Deborah,

I was wondering, where did you learn to do homeopathy? And also what do the letter after your name mean? The CCH and the RSHom, thanks,

    Dear Kelly,
You would need to check with your employer as to whether your health savings account will cover my fees. For many people it does.

    In love and service,

    Good morning!

I was wondering if my health savings account could be used for your fees. Please let me know and we’ll go from there.
